Lebanon High School seniors will not be in attendance on April 26 due to the State testing for 9th-11th grade students. The 9th-11th grade students must take this State of Illinois required test on April 26. This is our make-up test since we closed early on the original test date. The students will receive pizza and dilly bars for lunch as well as be put in a drawing for one of three $25.00 Shell gift cards. It is very important that all 9th-11th grade students be at school by 8:15 and in testing on April 26.

Spring sports picture reminder. We will be taking team and individual pictures with Voegele Photography starting at 12:30 tomorrow(Thursday April 21st) for hs baseball, hs softball, hs track, junior high track and junior high soccer. Picture forms were sent home a couple of weeks ago but the picture date had to be rescheduled. Extra packets are available in the high school and grade school offices.

Meet Lindsay Castillo our graduate clinician working with Mrs. Arnold this semester. PSAT and SAT makeup testing will be on Tuesday, April 26th. Due to the disruption in the schedule, seniors will not be required to attend school.

Hello. We have a strong chance for violent weather that will begin early Wednesday afternoon. The weather forecast is for thunderstorms, up to quarter sized hail, damaging winds and tornadoes. Since we already have an early dismissal for high school due to state testing ending early and several elementary school field trips that will be rescheduled, we felt it would be safer to dismiss the entire district at 1:00pm. This will hopefully get all students and staff safely home before severe weather hits. LCUSD9 will have an early dismissal at 1:00 tomorrow, Wednesday, April 13. Additionally, the School Board Meeting will be rescheduled for next Wednesday, April 20. As always our goal is to keep everyone safe and we appreciate your support. Greetings 4th/5th Grade Parents, It is with much regret that I inform you all that the City Museum field trip that was previously scheduled for tomorrow, 04/13, has been cancelled due to the potential weather that has been forecasted. The teachers are working on rescheduling with the City Museum, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Follow-up information will be shared with you all once it is received on our end. Thank you.

Today's home baseball and softball games are canceled. Baseball practice 3:30, Softball practice 5:30

On Wednesday, April 13th, 9th and 10th grade students will be taking the PSAT tests, while 11th graders will be taking the SAT. Because these tests will be taking most of the day, and disrupt the entire class schedule for LHS, Seniors will not be required to attend school on Wednesday, April 13th. 9th - 11th grade students can be dismissed once they have completed PSAT and SAT testing, which will be around 1:30. Buses will run for 9th-11th graders at 2:00.

These were the classes with the highest attendance percentages last week during IAR testing. All classes had great attendance. I'm so very proud of them and the teachers for the work that they've put in this year. 1st Hamm- 100% Stark- 100% 2nd Wiggs- 99% 3rd Otten- 96% Both 1st place teams will receive pizza tomorrow! 2nd place will receive ice cream! And 3rd place will receive fruit snacks! Congratulations to all!
