Reminder that high school boys basketball practice starts tomorrow 3:30-5:30 in the high school gym. All athletes must have a current athletic physical, all athletic paperwork filled out and submitted on PowerSchool and their $60 sports fee paid. Here are some pictures of the Hound Pound (jr high boy's basketball) supporting the Jr High Girls Basketball team. The boys did an excellent job cheering them on and really showed some positive school spirit. We were very proud of them!
The Junior High Honor Society hosted their annual Purple/White scrimmage night that included events the entire week. Throughout all of their hard work, the students were able to raise $500 for the Clinton County Humane Society. We will be observing Veterans Day on Friday, November 10. We are proud to have our very own veteran at LCUSD #9. Thank you Mr. Stark for your service to our country!

This is just a reminder that students will be going outside for recess and mindfulness. Please make sure that students are properly dressed with a coat, gloves and hat.
Cookie dough orders will be delivered NEXT WEEK! Please make arrangements to pick all orders up from LES (Lebanon Elementary) on Thursday, November 9th between 2:45pm -5:30pm.

Seniors can apply for the Tuskegee Airmen Scholarships, the applications are in Mrs. Schorfheide's office. Also, students in grades 5-8 can compete in the DAR Celebrate "Stars and Stripes Forever" essay contest by asking their teacher or Mrs. Schorfheide for an application. Students in grades 9-12 can compete for the DAR Patriots of the American Revolution Essay Scholarship Contest by asking the high school teachers of English or Mrs. Schorfheide for an application.

Last chance to sign up! The fall blood drive is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31 from 9:00am-2:00pm in the high school gym. Anyone 16 years of age and older is invited to sign up to give. If you are 16 years old you will need a signed parent consent form (which is attached below). Guests will be asked to sign-in in the office.
