Weather permitting, we will honor our spring sport seniors tomorrow at our home baseball and softball games vs Valmeyer. The rain date will be Monday May 9th.
We will honor baseball and track seniors at the baseball diamond at 4:00 and the softball seniors on the softball diamond at 4:15. Congratulations to the following seniors!

Today is the last day to sign up for intramural soccer. They will start on Tuesday May 3rd and will be every Tuesday and Thursday till May 26th. They will practice at the elementary school from after school till 4:15.

Reminder for all IHSA post season contests. Fans must purchase their tickets for track sectionals and baseball and softball regionals online. Below is the link to purchase tickets for the Girls Track Sectional at Nashville on Thursday May 12th and the Boys Track Sectional at Chester on Wednesday May 18th. Ticket prices are $7.00 and you can save your tickets on your phone. They will not accept cash at IHSA post season events for tickets.
I will send out the link to purchase baseball and softball regional tickets after the seeding is done for those sports at the end of next week.

Reminder, Tuesday May 3rd our hs baseball team will be playing at GCS park, home of the Gateway Grizzlies at 6:00. Our team has sold all of their 250 tickets that they were given, but you can still attend the game by buying tickets at the gate if you missed out on tickets being sold by the players. The team will still make $2 off of tickets sold at the gate, so come out and support your Greyhounds as they get a great opportunity to play at GCS park vs conference rival New Athens! Gates open at 5:00 and concession stands will be open!
We have moved the girls softball game start time up to 3:30 at New Athens on May 3rd so they can make it to the game if they want go.

Reminder from Coach Stark about intramural bowling today. Bowlers will return to school at 4:45 today and Thursday. Bus riders will be dropped off approximately 30 minutes later.
This is a reminder for 9th-11th graders:
Mandatory State of Illinois PSAT and SAT testing is tomorrow. Please make sure you get a good night sleep, arrive at school on time with your device charged, and have a healthy breakfast. There will be no other make up test dates. Students need their own calculator; LHS will furnish the number 2 pencils.
Seniors will not be required to be in attendance tomorrow due to the disruption testing will have to the LHS schedule. 9th-11th graders will receive pizza and dilly bars after testing is over. Buses for LHS students will run at 1:30 tomorrow.
