This is for any 5th-8th grade parents/students that are interested in participating in jh boys basketball, jh girls basketball. There will be a meeting on Monday September 20th at 6:30 in the grade school gym for all parents/players to meet with the Athletic Director and the Coaches for those teams to go over rules and expectations for the upcoming season. Practices will start Monday October 4th, so all athletes must have the following paperwork turned in to be able to practice: Athletic Handbook sign off, Hold Harmless form, Concussion Form, Athletic Trainer Consent Form, Covid Form and a current athletic physical in order to participate. These forms were included online in the registration package or they can be picked up at the high school and elementary office and they will be available at the meeting on Sept 20th. Parents must also pay a $40 sports fee for their child to participate. We are looking for a JH cheerleading head coach and assistant coach. We will have a separate meeting for jh cheerleading as soon as we can fill those positions. JH cheerleading normally starts practicing Oct 4th also, but we have to have coaches obviously before we can begin practice. Please contact Mr. Cruthis at 618-537-4423 ext 218 if you have any questions or email ccruthis@lcusd9.org
