Last day to sign up and pay for Soccer Intramurals is tomorrow, Friday, April 28 for any 1st-4th graders interested! The dates are: MONDAY, MAY 1st thru THURSDAY, MAY 4th and MONDAY, MAY 8th thru THURSDAY, MAY 11th. It will start right after school and end at 4:15, except Wednesdays will end at 3:00. This will be held at the Elementary or out on the soccer field (depending on weather and JH soccer schedule). Pick up will be behind the gym or at the soccer field. If weather prohibits us from being outside, we will be inside the grade school gymnasium. The fee is $25.00 per student with a deadline to sign-up and pay of Friday, April 28th. Next Tuesday May 2nd our hs baseball team will be playing at Grizzlies Stadium at 6:00 vs New Athens. High school players have tickets for sale for $4.00. The team will get 1/2 of the pre sale ticket sales money so please buy tickets from the players if possible.
Tickets can be bought at the stadium for $5.00 but we will not get any of those ticket sales.
Please come out and support the team either way on Tuesday night!


Thank you to everyone in the community who came out and made it a fun day at the Rally for the Greyhounds yesterday. It was great to see so many people at both games. Thank you to all the staff who helped put it on and especially Mrs Emrick and Mr. Nelson for spearheading the event. Thank you to Jacob Goble for smoking the pulled pork, Lori Reinneck, Cyndi Haeuber, Kim Emrick, Jen Spaeth and Jeff Daugherty(grilling) for running the stand and Bryan Reising for getting us power run out to the stand. Thank you to Mrs Kaschyke and the art club for doing face painting for kids and also thank you to Jake Baer for reaching out to our town coaches and bringing their teams to get recognized during the game. We really appreciate the support!
Senior Recognition for Baseball, Softball and Track will be Monday May 1st at approximately 4:00. Softball and Girls Track will be on the softball field and Baseball and Boys Track will be on the baseball field. Parents please arrive by 3:45 so we can make sure that we have everyone where they need to be.
Everyone please come out and celebrate our seniors next Monday May 1st!

The 1st annual Lebanon Greyhounds Basketball camp for all 1st-8th grade boys and girls will be held June 5th-9th. Every camper will receive a t-shirt, camp basketball, and daily snack. Basic basketball skills will be taught and practiced. We will incorporate competitive drills and scrimmage throughout camp. Thank you State Rep. Kevin Schmidt for visiting our school yesterday. In addition to sharing information about his background and what it is like to be a State Representative, he discussed how a bill becomes a law. Our elementary and high school students had excellent questions for Rep. Schmidt.



Today is the day for Rally for the Greyhounds!
Come on down to the high school after school today to watch our hs softball and hs baseball teams battle Dupo at 4:30!
We will have Kona Ice truck there as well as we will have a tent set up selling Pulled Pork sandwiches, pulled pork nachos, hot dogs and hamburgers plus our normal concession stand will also be open, run by our FFA!
We will also recognize our town T-Ball and softball teams after the 2nd inning of the hs softball game and our town baseball teams after the 2nd inning of the hs baseball game
Art club will also be doing face painting for donations.
Please come out and support our school and our teams today! Let's make it a great day to be a Greyhound!

Congratulations to our FFA Ag Mechanics contestants who participated at the Section 22 Ag Mechanics contest tonight at Mascoutah. Gavin Peters placed 3rd overall in Welding. Blake Goetter placed 5th overall in small engines and Kevin Fertig placed 8th overall in Electricity! Great job boys!!

Next Tuesday April 25th our baseball and softball teams will play at home vs Dupo. We are encouraging our community to come out and support our teams that day. We will recognize our town t-ball, baseball and softball teams after the 2nd inning. We will have pulled pork nachos and pulled pork sandwiches for sale from 3:30 till 6:30. The art club will be offering face painting for kids for a donation. Kona ice will also be here offering shaved ice(they will be here and set up right after school so kids can come down after school and purchase shaved ice treats)
So please spread the word and come out and enjoy a great day supporting our Greyhounds!
