Lebanon Student Council and National Honor Society will host their annual spring blood drive on March 22 from 9:15 to 1:45. Please come support these organizations and donate blood. You will need your driver's license to check in to the high school/junior high office.
Our Winter Sports Banquet is Monday March 25th at 6:30 pm in the High School Gym. This Banquet is for the High School Sports of Basketball, Cheerleading, and Bowling & Junior High Sports of Basketball, Cheerleading, Volleyball, & Bowling. Spring sports athletic reminder:
We will share any changes for games/practices as soon as we know the information based on weather and outlook. Most changes do not happen until 1:00 or later, so all games and practices are to be considered to be happening unless you receive a message on thrillshare or from the coaches GroupMe telling of a different plan. So please do not reach out asking if the game or practice is still on, because it is still on until we make an announcement.
Also we are still in need of some spring sports fees. We need these paid by next week or the athlete may be held out of their sport until paid.

Good Morning, this is a reminder that many local scholarships have been released to students on Mrs. Schorfheide's webpage or via Google Classroom. The deadlines are approaching March 15 and March 30. Please remind seniors to look at and apply for the scholarships.
Congratulations to 8th grader Landen Davis, he has had a couple of good days representing the Lebanon Junior High Bowling team at the SIJHSAA Regionals on Saturday and the Conference Tournament today.
On Saturday Landen qualified for the SIJHSAA tournament, which will be held this Saturday at St. Clair Bowl. Fellow 8th grader Collin Fertig just missed qualifying by 3 pins. The boys team placed 10th overall and did not qualify as a team.
Today Landen bowled in the Boys Conference Tournament and placed 12th out of 183 bowlers!

The Athletic Boosters are hosting their 2nd Annual Mouse Races Friday April 19th! Reserve a table, Volunteer to Help, and/or make a donation to the silent auction or booze raffle. This fundraisers helps us to provide athletic equipment for the teams and scholarship for two of our athletes each year.
The 2nd Annual Lebanon Greyhounds Basketball camp is back for the summer of 2024. Camp will run from June 3rd-7th and is open for any current K-6th graders. Please see the flyer for more information.

What is a Paraprofessional?
A paraprofessional is a specially trained and certified educational worker who helps teachers and students in the classroom. They provide instructional support to teachers and students, helping them understand and learn different subjects like math, science, English, and social studies.
Paraprofessionals are a valuable part of the education process. They help to ensure that instruction is efficient and effective by providing support in several ways. Their main responsibilities involve assisting with instruction, providing support during testing, working with students with special needs, managing classrooms, and generally bringing positive energy into the learning environment.
Paraprofessionals may also help with other tasks such as grading papers, preparing materials for lessons, supervising students during lunch or recess, or providing guidance to students who need extra help. They are an important part of the school’s staff and play an essential role in helping create a safe learning environment for all students.
Reminder that we will have our junior high track and junior high soccer parent/player/coach meeting tomorrow night at 7:00 in the high school gym.
JH track will start next Monday March 11 at 3:30. Students will report to the high school commons after school and stay with Mr. Cruthis until their coach arrives. To participate, athletes must have a current athletic physical, have the athletics forms filled out on power school( go online just like you did when you registered your son/daughter and click on Lebanon Athletics Registration Grades 5-12 only) and pay a $40 sport fee that can be paid in the high school office or on the myschoolbucks app.
