Great day for Lebanon bowlers at the Cahokia conference tournament
The boys bowled very well and came in 2nd, just 4 pins behind Kaskaskia Division Conference Champion Wesclin Warriors.
Collin Fertig was the overall individual conference champion for the Kaskaskia Division with a 4 game total of 894, winning by almost 40 pins!

We've opened up the Cheer Intramurals to 1st graders! If you are interested go to lcusd9.org, click on Cheer Intramurals and fill out the form. The intramurals are held after school until 4:15 on Jan. 27, 29, Feb. 3, 5 and the performance will be at the high school boys basketball game on Feb. 6. The intramural sessions will be held in the high school Commons. Student pickup will be at the Commons entrance doors at 4:15. I am reaching out again to see if we have any high school girls that have interest in playing soccer this spring with Wesclin. Wesclin currently only has 13 players and they are considering not having a season since a minimum of 11 is needed to play on the field and there is always sickness and injuries to deal with in a season. This would be a great opportunity for any girls who have thought about playing soccer in the past or may have played in junior high to get an opportunity to learn and play the game. Please have your daughter see Mr. Cruthis as soon as possible if they are interested, thank you.

I am sharing information sent by Rod Kloeckner, the athletic director at All Saints Academy in regards to the parking situation at their school for the Regional games this week. Please see the message below, thank you
All,
I wanted to give everyone a head's up about our parking situation for Wednesday's regional semifinal games. We only host a handful of home sporting events on Wednesdays at All Saints Academy during the school year in deference to PSR (public school religion) being held on campus from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. to minimize the amount of traffic. We got clearance to play on Wednesday, but only if all basketball attendees park on the streets surrounding the campus.
The parking-lot area next to the Jr. High building (directly south of the gym), the street between the gym and the junior-high (N. 3rd Street) and the pick-up lane by the new addition to the Jr. High will be closed to all basketball traffic (see the crude Google Map I pasted below). There will be chains blocking N. 3rd Street on both sides and the Jr. high parking lot. The pick-up lane on the west side of school will have orange cones out so no one parks there. If your school is bringing kids by bus, let me know and I or someone else will be out there to open the street so you can drop off by the gym entrance. Buses will be able to park in the Jr. High parking lot.
I will try to have some sort of signage posted, but if you could spread the word to your parents and/or fans about the parking situation on Wednesday, that would be great. There is plenty of street parking available around campus. There will be no such parking restrictions for Saturday morning's championship game. Remember, the time had to be pushed up an hour to 10 a.m. on Saturday for the title game.
