LES Parents, Due to incoming inclement weather, we will dismiss the students at 1:30 today. This is in an effort to get buses loaded up and out before the impending weather hits at 2:00. Understand that although buses will release a bit earlier, that the rate at which they will be driving will be slower to accommodate for the precipitation. The LHS/LJHS schedule will not be changed. They will still dismiss at 12:58. Thank you.

Greetings LES Parents! Next week, the week of 04/26-30, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking the IAR and ISA (5th grade only) state assessments. We will start the week off with a pep rally to get the students’ minds focused! Then we’ll jump into our testing schedules for the remainder of the week. During this week, teachers (3rd-5th) will give more classroom based assignments and activities. Your students should have minimal to no homework all of next week. But I would encourage your student to utilize those evenings to get caught up on any missing or incomplete work during that time as well. Make-up sessions will be during the week of 05/03-07. Remote students are eligible to complete the assessments this year. The school will be reaching out to those families to schedule those assessments. If you have any questions in regards to this communication feel free to email me at jfoster@lcusd9.org. Thank you. Jasen Foster Principal Lebanon Elementary School

Parents looking for the spring picture proofs, Voegele ran into a delay merging email addresses. That should be completed by the end of this week. If you do not receive an email by next week with your child's proof, please email Ann-Marie Vandeloo at amv@lcusd9.org. We appreciate your patience. Thank you.

Good evening, this message is to clarify some confusion about the junior high testing. Students who are remote learners are not required to take the test this year. We understand there are many reasons families have chosen remote learning and would not add that stress to them. As stated in a previous post we hope they will attend but in no way are requiring remote students to attend for testing. Have a great rest of the week!

Check out what happens when you combine STEM and music! The 4th graders are creating original songs and playing them using glass jars with varying amounts of colored water and spoons. Stay tuned next week for a video showcasing their creative abilities.
