Congrats to our Track team: From Coach Benjamin Richter: EAWR 5-1-21 Alton (Marquette), Belleville (Althoff), Centralia (CORL), Metro-East Lutheran, Lebanon, Madison, Waterloo (Gibault), East Alton-W.R. Today was a very fun and exciting day for our team! We finished 5th of 8 with our 6 athletes. Runners had a hard workout on Thursday and still came back today with strong showings. Throwers competed in the most challenging field of athletes we have seen yet. In the throws, Luke brought home 2 first place medals with some very solid throws. Aiden Wright threw PRs in both discus and shot put! On the track, Marquis Pritchett had an absolutely phenomenal showing. He claimed 1st in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.2 and 2nd in the 100 with 11.2. Colin Berry captured 5th in the 400 and came back to finish top 10 in the 200.

Congratulations to our FFA members who participated in the SIUC National Agronomy Virtual CDE yesterday. Destiny Zeeb placed 1st place individual and the team place 2nd overall! Congratulations!

Upcoming LHS/LJHS End of the Year events: May 15th: LHS Prom from 5:30-7:30...tickets are on sale until the end of this week. May 22nd: LHS Graduation at 2:00 on the soccer field. Each graduate will be given 5 guest seats close to the event. We will have a designated "General Admission/Standing Room Only" area at a greater distance from the stage for any other guests who wish to attend. May 23rd: LHS Graduation rainout date (if needed) May 24th: LJHS 8th Grade Graduation at 5:30 PM on the soccer field. Each graduate will be given 5 guest seats close to the event.
