High school students who wish to make a schedule change must have a parent note. No note not changes, phone calls will not be allowed per handbook. Changes will only be allowed Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

Happy New Year! Attention all 6th-12th students who have a 2nd semester-only class: Pick up of supplies/materials for your new class will be on Monday, January 4th, from 12:00-4:00 in the HS gym. Please enter through the rear (South) entrance of the gymnasium for materials. Thanks to all of you who returned your 1st semester-only class materials! We are still missing materials/textbooks from some of our students who had 1st semester-only classes. It is critical that these items be returned to ensure that all students have the materials they need to begin their 2nd semester classes. If you still need to return items to us, you may bring them to the office on Monday morning, or bring them with you when you come to pick up the materials for your 2nd semester class from 12:00-4:00. Thank you for your help!!

Dear LCUSD9 Families and Staff, While this school year has been a challenge, I hope you have many things for which you are thankful this holiday season. I am personally grateful for: Our D9 students who have demonstrated positive attitudes as they navigate new learning models and protocols, Our D9 parents who have changed their schedules and work in partnership with staff, Our teachers, certified staff, and support staff for their extra efforts and willingness to adapt lessons and job responsibilities, Nurse Tracie who works many hours to help students and families stay well, Our custodial and building staff for keeping buildings clean, sanitized, and safe, Our technology department who ensure tools are available for remote learning, Our board of education for their leadership, and Our community who supports public education and our schools. This has been a challenging year for everyone. When faced with challenges and crises, it is more important than ever to share gratitude and express thanks. I encourage you to reach out to someone in D9 to share your gratitude. It could be a teacher, a staff member, or a fellow parent who supports or inspires you. By doing so we will not only continue to get through this together, but we will help one another thrive in the face of this year’s challenges. Please be safe over this holiday season. LES Parents, A reminder that any students in possession of a district issued I-Pad must have their device turned into the school by 3:30 PM on Friday, December 18th. The chargers DO NOT need to be brought in with the device for this process. The technology department needs them in order to perform maintenance check and update them. Any I-Pads not submitted at that time will not receive the updated apps and configurations. Thank you.

Good Morning LES Families! On the evening of Monday, December 21, 2020, from 6:00-7:00 PM the LES PTO and Title I program will be sponsoring the "LES Drive-Thru Hot Cocoa Party!" This drive-thru will flow very similar to the reverse parade that we held back in August. The only difference will be that it will take place in the front parking lot instead of the back lot this time. As vehicles pull through the parking lot and proceed around. There will be greeters waving to the vehicles. We will have baggies prepared to handout to every child in each vehicle, whether they are LES or not! Also, there just might be somebody special in the line waving to the vehicles. Just like last time, we are asking you to remain inside of your vehicles and don't stop to have individual conversations, so as not to hold up the procession. Hope to see all LES families roll through here on Monday evening between 6:00-7:00 PM. Have a great day! Thank you.

The FFA is selling t-shirts, crewneck sweatshirts, and hoodies. The prices are 15.00 for t-shirts, crewneck sweatshirts are 20.00, and hoodies are 25.00. All money is due TODAY. Reminder to all students who have a 1st semester only class such as Health, Civics, Consumer Ed, Computer Concepts, Keyboarding, Driver Ed, etc.!! Return of books/materials is today from 11:00-4:00 through the rear entrance of the HS gym. Make sure you have all materials for return. Don't forget your mask!

Meal pick up today until 11:00 at Lebanon High School and Lebanon Elementary School. Also meal pick up at Summerfield until 10:00 at Fireman's Hall. Hope to see you soon.
