Junior High Volleyball Athlete of the week (February 17th - February 21st) Varsity: Khloe Munton (OH) (7th Grade) Khloe was chosen as this week's Jr.High volleyball athlete of the week. Khloe had a spectacular game this week v.s Germantown helping the both the JV and Varsity teams with her incredible saves on defense and hits. Khloe is an extremely hard worker at practice, and she’s always looking for ways to improve her game. Coach Carpenter and I are both extremely proud of the progress and leadership she's shown so far this season. JV: Marley Pier (L) (7th Grade) Marley was chosen as this week's Jr.High volleyball athlete of the week. Marley has contributed so much to helping her team out this season both on and off the court. But her play speaks louder than words versus Germantown Marley rallied the JV team through two close sets with tremendous saves and passes as Libero for JV. Marley’s continued growth and development of her skills since last season to now has truly been exciting to watch. Coach Carpenter and I are proud to see the continued growth and play she brings throughout this season. C Team: Hayden Venhaus (S/RS) (6th Grade) For the second week in a row Hayden was chosen as this week's Jr.High volleyball athlete of the week. Hayden continues to impress us this week with her dominating performance in this week's C Team game v.s Germantown. Hayden helped rally her team to an epic 3 set thriller win v.s Germantown. Again like I mentioned last week Hayden, Coach Carpenter and I are extremely proud of the leadership that Hayden has brought to the team and we’re excited to see her skill snake and grow as this season continues.

LCUSD #9 Families, Good evening! Due to the forecast for continued snow showers throughout the night and the potential for hazardous travel conditions, Lebanon CUSD #9 will be utilizing an E-Learning Day tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19, 2025. This decision is being made this evening to allow parents of elementary students time to develop a proactive plan, as opposed to waiting to assess the road conditions during the early morning hours. A decision will be made on any after school extracurricular events by 12pm tomorrow. That decision will be communicated with coaches/sponsors to share with their respective team members and posted on the website and social media outlets shortly after that. When we return to school on Thursday morning, it’s supposed to be extremely cold with single digit temperatures and wind chills below zero. Please be prepared for the cold weather by dressing in layers and wearing a coat, hat, and gloves if you are outside for any length of time. Our school staff members will be prepared for longer than normal parent drop off lines, and we will be patient and excuse any tardies that are a result of these longer lines. Thank you, in advance, for helping us keep all students safe and warm. I appreciate your continued patience, understanding, and flexibility! Be safe and stay warm, Matt Noyes, Ed.D. LCUSD#9 Superintendent

Junior High Volleyball Athletes of the week (2/14/2025) Varsity: Aleyda Bennet (MH) (8th Grade) Aleyda was chosen this week as the Jr.High volleyball athlete of the week. Aleyda has come into her 8th grade season leading the team in blocks thus far. With 2 blocks v.s Breese and 2 v.s Carlyle, Aleyda also had numerous kills and aces throughout both games as well. Aleyda always comes into practices and games with tremendous energy and enthusiasm. I am extremely excited to see the full potential Aleyda bring throughout this season. Hayden leads the team with both Aces and Kills. Against Carlye, Lebanon was down 8-16 Hayden rallied the team with her serving with 5 aces to take the lead and win the game. Hayden always comes into both games and practice always giving 100% effort especially playing all three teams. As a captain this year Coach Carpenter and I are extremely proud of the leadership that Hayden has brought to the team in helping out her teammates. C Team: Charlotte Ruth (S/RS) (6th Grade) Charlotte was chosen this week as our C Team player of the week. Charlotte has truly made an impactful role on the team this season which is also why she was named captain this season by the coaches.. Charlotte leads the team in assists. Charlotte always comes into both games and practice always giving 100% effort especially playing all three teams. No matter where the ball is, Charlotte is always ball hungry and gives it her all to set her team up for greatness. Coach Carpenter and I are extremely proud of the leadership that Charlotte has brought to the team in helping out her teammates whether it's getting into proper rotations or controlling the offense.
