Varsity:Danika Toth (MH) (8th Grade)
Danika was chosen this week as the varsity Jr.High volleyball athlete of the week. Danika has come into her 8th grade season as our 2nd leader in blocks for all three teams. Danika had a phenomenal week especially v.s FBA and Albers with a combined 8 total blocks. Danika brings outstanding poise and energy to the team. Even when things aren't going her way Danika doesnāt crumble from adversity. She instead tackles it head on with a smile on her face. Coach Carpenter and I are truly proud of the growth and progress she has made thus far this season. We are excited to see what more growth she does as the season continues.
JV: Khloe Munton (OH) (7th Grade)
Khloe was chosen again as this week's Jr.High volleyball athlete of the week for the jv team. Khloe has had a great week this week with her great digs, hits, and serves. In our game v.s FBA, Khloe went on a 4 ace streak. Khloeās growth so far this season has truly shown in every game and practice. She always makes sure to give 100% effort.
C Team: LilyWiley (OH) (5th Grade)
Lily was chosen as the C team athlete of the week.Lily has continued to grow and develop her skill throughout this season and it has truly been electric to watch. Lily plays with tremendous effort and positivity. During last week's JV tournament Lily helped the greyhounds with her excellent passes and serves. This week in particular she even went on a long serving run even accumulating a couple aces as well. Everyday Lily comes into practice with a driven desire to grow and get better and better. Which is why this week we wanted to recognize her for her excellent work.

From Coach Becker and Carpenter
Junior High Volleyball Athlete of the week (2/24/2025)-(2/28/2025)
Varsity: Brilee Davenport (L) (8th Grade)
Brilee was chosen this week as the varsity Jr.High volleyball athlete of the week. Brilee has come into her 8th grade season helping her teams with her spectacular saves and passes. In last week's game v.s Wesclin during the middle of an intense rally Brilee made the diving save of a lifetime to keep the hounds alive and win the rally. Brilee always comes into practices and games with tremendous energy and enthusiasm. She also has been helping out the underclassmen this past weekend Brilee volunteered to help out the JV team in their Wesclin tournament. Showing Brileeās leadership both on and off the court. I am extremely excited to see the full potential Brilee brings throughout this season.
JV: Charlotte Ruth (S/RS) (6th Grade)
Once again Charlotte was chosen this week as our JV Team player of the week. Charlotte continues to enhance the teams and her own abilities throughout this season Charlotte still leads the team in assists. Charlotte has shown true humility and leadership both on and off the court and it speaks volume. Every game Refs and even coaches compliment and recognize Charlotte's leadership role on the court with helping her teammates.
C Team: Harper Buress (MH) (6th Grade)
Harper was chosen as the C team athlete of the week. Harper has continued to grow and develop her skills throughout this season. Harper had a great game last week v.s Wesclin helping the greyhounds with her hitting and passing abilities. Harper embodies great respect and responsibility on the team. When Harper is either playing or on the sideline she makes sure to bring the energy and juice towards her team. Her positivity and great attitude is a huge reason for being recognized. Coach Carpenter and I are both proud of how Harper has bought into the program. Weāre excited to see what more growth she shows as we continue through the season.
