Judging by the snowflakes, wind, and chilliness outside it seems that winter is finally upon us. Parents, make sure that you are dressing your students warmly. We will continue to have the the students go outside for recess as long as the temperature allows. The cutoff temperature for us to go outside is 25 degrees with the wind chill factor per our district handbook. Make sure that your students come to school prepared with: coat, hat, gloves, scarf, earmuffs, and a layer of clothing under their regular clothes. Thank you!

Greetings Students, Families, Faculty & Staff of LCUSD9! The year of 2020 has presented us with many obstacles, difficulties, complexities, and audibles in the way that we conduct and live our every day lives. But you all have adapted and rolled with the punches. The LCUSD9 Administrative Team (Mr. Keeney, Mr. Teasley, & Mr. Foster) would just like to express how much we are truly thankful for you all during this holiday season! Everyone has worked tremendously hard for the past four months. You deserve this Thanksgiving break. Make sure that you enjoy your families and your time off. But continue to remain safe and be diligent about healthy practices. We have the final three weeks of the semester to complete upon our return next week. The Admin team is truly thankful for everyone that walks through the doors of LES, LJHS, & LHS! See you next week. Happy Thanksgiving!
