Vernon for a chance to advance to the IHSA State Finals the following Friday and Saturday. Also congratulations to Junior Emily Nordmann for medaling as the 3rd overall individual. Kyndal Stark placed 7th, Savannah Webster placed 17th, Neela Missey placed 27th and McKenna Herbert placed 34th. We believe this is the first high school girls bowling team to advance as a team to Sectionals at Lebanon. Great job Greyhounds!
Hello. On Friday an Illinois judge ruled on a lawsuit filed by parents across the state that challenged state-mandated COVID-19 mitigations. We have been told that the Attorney General will file an appeal to the new court ruling on Monday morning. Additionally, the court ruling may only pertain to the students listed in the lawsuit. As we wait for clarification and new guidances, we ask for your patience and understanding as Lebanon CUSD9 navigates the latest changes to the COVID-19 guidance and rules for Illinois schools. Since Lebanon was NOT directly involved in the lawsuit, we are in the process of reviewing the judge’s decision and will communicate with you as soon as possible on how this ruling will impact our students and staff members. Until then, I ask for your patience as we review this decision. We will continue with our current in-person mitigation plan until we get specific guidance from IDPH, ISBE and our attorneys. Thank you for your continued support of our students, teachers, and staff. While it has been a difficult year, we will get through this together as soon as possible. Thank you!

Parents, Students and Staff,
Lebanon CUSD9 will NOT be in session tomorrow, Thursday, February 3 due to inclement weather. Roads and sidewalks are still bad with a forecast that does not look good heading into tomorrow. All snow days will be fully made up as built into our school calendar. Please be safe and try to enjoy the snow!
Mr. Keeney
Parents, Staff and Students; it appears that rain will change to ice and/or heavy accumulations of snow early tomorrow morning. Rather than wait for the change to occur, we are canceling school tomorrow, Wednesday, February 2nd. If projections hold true, there is a likelihood of closure again on Thursday. I plan to release additional updates tomorrow including whether school will be in session on Thursday and/or Friday. Each Snow Day will be fully made up in person as represented in our school calendar. Please stay safe and enjoy the day off!

Lebanon Band Fundraiser at Hanks Bowl!!

Due to conflicts of schedules, we cannot have our 8th grade recognition night tonight at the hs boys basketball game. So we will recognize our 8th graders on Senior night for our hs boys basketball and cheerleaders on Feb 15th before the start of the varsity game at 6:00.
This Tuesday night our JH boys basketball team will play in the Regional at O'Fallon First Baptist. Fans and players will not be allowed to enter the building until 6:30 as they clear out the gym from the fans of the game before ours. Their administration stresses that fans must wear facemasks to enter the building and during the game as imposed by the junior high state association.
Good Luck Greyhounds!

Congratulations to Kyndal Stark, her parents Glenn and Stephanie Stark and her coaches Penni Liebig and Nikki Waters. Kyndal signed a scholarship offer from Quincy University this past Friday. She will continue her bowling career for the Quincy Hawks!
