Attention LCUSD 9 families! Beginning Monday, February 1st, LCUSD 9 will be having 4 days of attendance for ALL students who have not signed up for remote learning. We will continue the same daily time schedules and days of in- person instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; with full remote on Wednesdays for ALL students. Please understand that we will try to social distance as best we can, but this will not be possible in many classrooms. We know that in order to stay open, our staff must social distance; whereas some students will not be able to. Also, it will not be possible to social distance on buses in the mornings and afternoons. We encourage families who are able, to ride or walk to school if you are concerned about the inability to social distance on buses.

Good afternoon to all of our students and families! Throughout February, LCUSD 9 will be celebrating Black History Month. The Black History Month theme for 2021 is "The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity." We would like to invite all of our district families to share with us some of your family pictures for display. You can share your pictures with either Mrs. Wyms or Mrs. Derber via their district email addresses, or bring in copies. We look forward to seeing them!

The Lebanon PTO president, Megan Casperson, presented Mrs. Moore and Ms. Lynn with gift cards. They coached the highest earning class for the WizFit Challenge held in December. Lebanon parent, Erin Nordmann coordinated this event.

High school students are starting pre-registration this week. Please talk with your freshman, sophomore or junior student about their classes for next year. Students who fail a required gradation course as listed on the form or in the course description book can take it via ilvirtual.org for $95. Should they not take it online they must repeat the class next year before going on to the next level of the course. Students can view their grades on their "unofficial transcript" in Chalkable.

The Lebanon Athletic Dept is aware of the recent announcements/changes by the Governor and IDPH regarding sports. We are reviewing information and waiting for updates by the IHSA/SIJHSAA and will get information out as we get more clarification. Go Greyhounds!

All currently in-person students will be enrolled automatically into 4 day attendance, and current remote learners will be automatically enrolled as remote students. If you want to change your student(s) status, you must contact the office TODAY by noon. Please understand that we will try to social distance in classrooms as best as possible, but this will not be possible in all classrooms. All in-person students will be enrolled automatically into 4 day attendance, and current remote learners will be enrolled as remote students. If you want to change your student(s) status, you must contact the office by this Friday, January 22nd at Noon.

We will be keeping our current daily attendance schedule throughout the month of January. Beginning February 1st we will be combining "A" and "B" days, thus allowing 4 days of attendance for ALL students. We will continue the same daily time schedules and days of in person instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; with full remote on Wednesdays for all students. We will try to social distance as best as possible, but this will be more challenging with higher student numbers. We know that in order to stay open our staff must social distance; where as some students may not be able to social distance. Please keep this in mind when choosing in person or remote. Current in person students will be enrolled automatically into 4 day attendance as well as remote students will remain remote. If you want to change please contact your building principals by this Friday at Noon. Please remain flexible as these plans may change at any time.

Picture retakes will take place on Tuesday 01/26 and Thursday 01/28. Be on the lookout for more information in the coming days.
