Congratulations to our soil judging team who placed 7th out of 32 schools at the state land use evaluation contest held at Rend Lake College today. They were only one placing away from being ranked a "superior" school (top 6). They've worked very hard over the last month and should be very proud of themselves. They already have their sights set on next year and are determined to get the top six placing!!

Congratulations to our soil judging team for placing 3rd today at the Section 22 land use evaluation contest! Carl Berndes placed 4th individually and August Bonjour placed 9th! We are headed to the state competition at Rend Lake College on Wednesday!!

Today some of our agriculture students traveled to the SWIC Granite City campus for their Manufacturing Day. We were one of the 44 schools who attended the event. Students got to talk to different companies and colleges about manufacturing careers. They also got to tour SWICS campus and visit a local manufacturing company in Troy called Unitech.

Our high school volleyball team attended a McKendree University Volleyball game last night and then hosted Ofallon First Baptist and Christ Our Rock this morning. Senior Zora Boggs won a volleyball t-shirt at the McKendree game in a serving competition. Girls had a great time.
Come out for their cancer night game on Monday. They will be honoring those we have lost to cancer, those who are fighting cancer and those who have beaten cancer!
