Tonight is all about celebrating what makes our community so special. We are proud to be part of a place where neighbors support one another, families stay connected, and our schools serve as the heart of it all. Lebanon Community Unit School District is more than just a place for learning—it’s a place where students grow, discover their passions, and build the foundation for their future.
But what truly makes this district outstanding is all of you—the families, community members, and supporters who show up, get involved, and believe in our students. Nights like this are a reminder of the strength and pride we share.
So tonight, let’s come together, show our spirit, and celebrate our students, our schools, and our amazing community.

This camp is open to all students entering grades 5th–12th for the 2026–2027 school year. We also welcome participants from outside the Lebanon school district, so please feel free to share this opportunity with friends, family, or anyone interested in developing their volleyball skills this summer.
We are especially excited to share that we have partnered with the McKendree University Women’s Volleyball Team, whose players and coaches will be in attendance each day to assist with drills and provide valuable instruction and insight.
Last year, we welcomed over 30 campers, and we are looking forward to an even bigger and better experience this summer!

LCUSD #9 Families,
Good afternoon! Due to the extremely cold temperatures today and tomorrow morning, more time will be needed to improve the condition of our parking lots, sidewalks, and even some of our local and rural roads. As such, Lebanon CUSD #9 will be utilizing another E-Learning Day again tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
All students should have their electronic devices and learning materials needed to participate in E-Learning day activities at home. Teachers and students should be following the procedures outlined in our state approved E-Learning Day Plan found on the district website.
At this time, no official decisions have been made regarding activities or extracurricular events scheduled for Tuesday, January 27th. Stay tuned for future updates via email, text, and other forms of communication from coaches regarding practices and games that are scheduled for Tuesday. Final decisions on these events may not be made until after 10:00 or 11:00am tomorrow morning.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
Stay safe and warm,
Matt Noyes, Ed.D.
