We held our annual Spelling Bee this morning at LES. Congratulations to the winner James Kruse and our runner up Lilyana Wiley, both third graders! Thank you to Mrs. Clemens for chairing the Spelling Bee Committee and all the other staff members who volunteered to help.

We will have our parent/player/coach meeting for Junior High Volleyball this Thursday Jan 12th at 6:30 in the high school commons/cafeteria. We ask anyone who will have their daughter trying out for volleyball to attend. Parents can pick up schedules and pay the $40 sports fee that evening also if they have not already done it so.
Reminder that tryouts will start Tuesday January 17th 3:30-5:30 in the grade school gym and athletes must have a current physical and their athletic paperwork filled out online in power school to tryout.

Attention all 1st-4th grade students! Sign ups are open now for our Mini Cheer Intramurals! This will be held in the High School Commons. Pick will be at 4:15 behind the High School at the Commons Entrance (come to the doors, please). The dates are as follows: Tuesday, Jan. 31, Thursday, Feb. 2, Tuesday, Feb. 7, and Thursday, Feb. 9 (these are all after school until 4:15). On Friday, Feb. 10, the participants will perform at half-time of the HS Boys Basketball game. The participants can cheer with the high school cheer squad from the bleachers as well. Game time is 6:00. Payment will need to be made by Tuesday, Jan. 24. You can pay on on myschoolbucks OR send in a $15 check or $15 cash in an envelope marked Mini Cheer Intramurals with your child's name. Junior High volleyball tryouts will start on Tuesday Jan 17th 3:30-5:30 in the grade school gym
5th grade thru 8th grade girls are eligible to tryout. In order to try out they must have a current athletic physical, all athletic paperwork filled out on power school(instructions attached to email/facebook post) and $40 sports fee paid by Monday Jan 16th. Fee can be paid online on the myschoolbucks app.
Games will start Jan 30th, we currently plan on have a 5th/6th team(C team), 6th/7th team(B team) and 7th/8th team(A team), but this will depend on our numbers. Matches normally start at 4:00 however there are a couple of exceptions
