Gavin Peters is State Bound!!! Congratulations to both Gavin Peters and Blake Goetter for competing at the District 5 FFA proficiency awards contest last night at Mt. Vernon high school. Gavin won in the Landscape Management category and will be moving on to the state contest on March 25th. Blake did a great job on his interview and killed it as a freshman! Unfortunately, he won't move on but making it to Districts is a huge accomplishment for his first year! We can't wait to see what his future holds! Great job to both boys!

Mrs. Horn's 4th period Creative Writing class had to write a 20 line rhyming poem about aviation, flight, birds, etc., something to do with flying and also had to incorporate 5 aviation terms (Mrs. Horn gave them a dictionary handout with vocabulary terms on it). They then had to fold it into a paper airplane and we went out today to do a race. Matthew Malone came in first place.
