Athletes of the week Nov 16th-Nov 22nd- Great Job Greyhounds!!!!!!
HS Boys Basketball
Amjad Adams
Amjad has worked hard this off-season and has continued to work hard every day at practice. Even though he is a freshman, he has the respect of his teammates and coaches because of his work ethic and willingness to listen and desire to get better. He also is a tremendous student in the classroom, so keep up the good work Amjad!
HS Cheerleading
Dylan Gimm
Dylan has gone above and beyond showing up early for practice and putting in a lot of effort to be our new Greyhound Hank! He always has a smile on his face and a positive attitude and he is so excited to be Hank at our home games. Hopefully everyone will come check him out and maybe even get a few pics with him! Great job Dylan!
HS Bowling
Mason Shirley
Forced his way onto the varsity with several 200+ games the first couple weeks! Always willing to listen and learn. Keep up the good work!
JH Boys Basketball-JV
Joesy Cramer-Herrera
Joesy has shown good skills and leadership since our very first practice. What he does for our team doesn't always show up in the scorebook. I rely on Joesy to run our offense and help direct teammates on defense which he has done very well. I can't wait to see how good he can become, not just this season, but through his junior high and high school career. Way to go Joesy!
JH Boys Basketball-Varsity
Maverick Wilkins
Mav is a great leader, plays hard and is always looking to grow and improve. We are proud of his continued maturity and heart on the court!
JH Girls Basketball
Charlotte Ruth
Charlotte has led the team both offensively and defensively recently. She is averaging 12.5 ppg in the last 5 games with a high of 16. Her defensive presence is a problem for any team we face. She continually sparks our offense with her defense. I can't say enough about the pure effort she gives every second she is on the court. She exemplifies toughness for our whole program.
Junior High Cheerleading-JV
Addison Wright
Addison continues to show dedication to the team, her positive attitude always brightens the mood at practices and games!
Junior High Cheerleaders-Varsity
Gracelyn Trivett
Her personality has really grown since the beginning of the season, she always comes to practices and games prepared and she steps up to help her teammates in any way needed

Purple/White Night and the Blake Wood Memorial Alumni game last Friday were a great success. Thank you to all of the many people who came out to see our high school boys basketball team and cheerleaders get a chance to show what they have been working on the last few weeks as their seasons started this week.
Also thank you to all of the 33 alumni who came back to play after the high school boys scrimmage. It was a fun night seeing so many people come out for a great cause and to have a little fun. I also wanted to recognize all of the alumni that were in attendance as fans and the many people who donated money towards the Blake Wood Memorial Scholarship Fund. We raised a little over $1200 that night for the scholarship fund and a special shout out to Creekside Bar and Grill who took raised another $250 that day from customers who mentioned the purple/white scrimmage and alumni game. Bringing our total to just under $1500, so thank you to everyone who contributed in some way from this great community! Another reason why it is great to be a Greyhound!

This month we honor our students who show what courage truly looks like at school. Whether it is trying something new, speaking up when it matters, standing up for others or pushing through difficult challenges, each of these students demonstrated remarkable courage. Congratulations to Natalie, Harmony, Preston, Nova, Kassen, Paisley and Gracie. We are proud of you!
