Good morning, this is a reminder that 5th grade and 8th grade parents and guardians are invited to Parent/Guardian Information Night this Thursday, March 7. 5th grade parents and guardians will meet at 5:30 and 8th grade parents and guardians will meet at 6:30. Both meetings will take place in the high school commons.
Athletic announcements Reminder that high school track practice begins today at 3:30, athletes are to meet with coach Cruthis in the high school commons after school. Tonight is 8th grade night for jh volleyball and jh bowling, parents are asked to be there by 5:15 as 8th graders will be recognized before the 8th grade game.

Our Junior High Honor Society visited kindergarten today to read books and teach us how to give compliments to one another.
Today, Mr. Cruthis and his son, Jackson, came to Mrs. Derber's 7th grade classes to talk about Jackson's kidney transplant. Mr. Cruthis donated his kidney to Jackson in 2019. The 7th graders are learning about body systems in science.
Reminder that we will have our 8th grade recognition night for our jh volleyball players and jh bowlers on Monday March 4th, just before the 8th grade volleyball game. Parents, please arrive no later than 5:30.

Pre-K families attended their first parent education night this evening! They discussed the importance of the home and school connection and how to be an active participant in their child's education. We raffled a math sensory bin, and made a visual schedule to make morning routines easier! Thank you to the families that were able to join us! 💜
Jh bowling practice is canceled today due to a shortage of available busses. All Jh bowlers will go home after school today.

Second grade was learning about biographies and Helen Keller. We wanted to share our paining activity where students painted with no sight.
Yesterday FFA members wrapped up FFA week by taking a field trip to the world bird sanctuary & the endangered wolf center to learn more about wildlife conservation. It was a great day with perfect weather!

The winners will represent our school on March 13 at Westhaven School in Belleville at the Young Author Conference. They also received a plaque and Barnes & Noble gift card. 📚✏️ There were 17 books submitted this year.The judges were very impressed with all the entries.
