Attention 1st-4th graders!! Exciting news for our next Intramural Sport!! ... SKATING!! Yes, we will be skating in the LES gymnasium. We can only have 30 participants so if you want your child to be a part of the fun, sign them up and pay now! Quad skates will be provided by Skatetime (you cannot bring skates from home). It will start after school and finish at 4:15. Parent pick-up will be behind the elementary school. This will take place on Tues-February 20, Thurs-February 22, Tues-February 27, and Thurs-February 29. The fee is $35.00. To sign-up go to our website: lcusd9.org, click on the tab marked Skating Intramurals and fill out the form. You can pay on myschoolbucks or send an envelope to school marked "Skating Intramurals" with cash or check (paid to LES). The deadline to SIGN-UP and PAY is Wednesday, February 7. Jh Volleyball will play their 1st game tonight at 4:00 vs Valmeyer in the grade school gym, we will play 3 levels: 5/6, 7 and 8th grade levels.

HS girls basketball coop plays at Wesclin vs Chester tonight, JV game at 6:00, head over and support our girls!
We had a great crowd for our Cancer Night on Saturday night. Cheerleading Intramurals performed between games, NHS sponsored the night a worked hard raising money, the band played and sounded great. The JV boys lost but the hs boys won 65-60 over Okawville. Drew Horn had 21 pts and 10 rebounds and DeVaughn Ware had 23 points 8 rebounds and 9 assists and Blake Goetter had 8 pts.
The boys have now won 3 straight by winning at Sandoval Wednesday 72-64, Drew Horn had 39 points and 15 rebounds and Devaughn Ware had 21 pts and 6 assists and Kyle Noud had 8 pts. Then this past Friday at Dupo they won 65-42 and Drew Horn had 24 pts and 20 rebounds, DeVaughn Ware had 15 pts and 8 assists and Blake Goetter had 11 pts

Doors are open and tickets and goodies are for sale!!!



Tonight is the high school basketball game where our Intramural Cheer squad will perform!! Game starts at 6:00, please arrive by 5:50. The performance will be between jv and varsity games. Have your child wear purple if possible, white, gray or black. T-shirts, shorts, leggings, sweatpants or skirt (with shorts underneath) would be options to wear! The immediate family of the cheer participant will get in free! It is also our cancer fundraising night with baskets being raffled off. It's going to be fun! Can't wait to watch the game and our Cheerleaders ... all in the HS gym!

Lebanon's Cancer Night is tonight! We will have basket raffles, 50/50, and a bake sale! Come support our boys basketball team and support a great cause!

Todays JH bowling practice is canceled because we do not have a bus available to transport the team. There are not any other practices this week, the team will bowl their first match on Monday.

Due to a change in the forecast that will not have ice melting until later in the afternoon today, we are cancelling all practices and games scheduled for today. Stay safe today.

Save the date! Greyhound basketball camp is scheduled for June 3-7!


We will wait till tomorrow around 1:00 to decide about afternoon athletic practices, Coaches will update their teams tomorrow as soon as they hear from the administration about whether practices are safe to have tomorrow afternoon. Monday nights home high school boys basketball game is canceled due to Patoka taking a snow day and they are not allowed to play on snow days.

If your child is signed up for Cheer Intramurals, it is cancelled for tomorrow, Monday, January 22. We will add Friday, January 26. Our new schedule will be January 23, 25, 26 with the performance on Saturday, January 27. Sorry for any inconvenience! ~~ Lori Reinneck
