Junior High and High school fall sports information. We hope you have had a good summer so far. Parent/player/coach meeting for junior high softball, junior high baseball and junior high cross country will be at 6:00 on Tuesday July 23rd in the elementary school gym. Parent/player/coach meeting for high school soccer, high school volleyball and high school cross country will be Tuesday Aug 6th at 6:00 in the high school gym. Junior High sports practices will be starting July 29th and high school sports practices will start Aug 12th and these are the fall sports: softball, baseball and cross country at the junior high level and volleyball, boys soccer and cross country at the high school level. To participate on the first day of practice, all athletes must have a copy of a current athletic physical on file at the school, then go online to the school registration that was sent out yesterday and make sure to fill out the part that says "Athletic Registration grades 5-12 only" and pay the sports fee, $40 per sport for junior high and $60 per sport for high school and this can be paid on the "myschoolbucks" app, in the high school office or at our parent meeting night on July 23rd Physical, online forms and paid sports fee must be taken care of before your athlete can practice and they will sit out until all things are taken care of so please do these things now, so they do not miss any practice time. An option for a quick sports physical is to go to WellNow Urgent Care at 1711 W Hwy 50 O'Fallon IL 62269. They are open 8am-8pm 7 days a week and not appointment necessary for a sports physical. Update on school supplies at LES - - A huge thank you goes out to Chapter One (Jessica Lamar) for once again sponsoring all of the school supplies for our LES students. Please begin at the school website under the 24-25 SY Registration button-https://www.lcusd9.org/o/lebanon/page/24-25-registration-info. There is a lot of new information regarding the upcoming year and instructions on how to update and fill out the forms that are needed! Registration will run until Friday, July 19, 2024 and for those that don't have access to a computer, there will be chromebooks set up at both offices to help complete the process. Hours for in-person registration are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday. Offices are closed on Fridays. We hope that everyone is enjoying summer break! 5th-8th grade JH Softball will be having open field on Mondays & Wednesdays throughout July. We will start tommorow, July 1st. Mondays we'll meet at the softball field from 6:30-8 pm. LHS is partnering with Freeburg, O'Fallon, and Mascoutah High Schools to launch the Silver Creek Area CEO program. We invite local businesses and community members to get involved! This program will offer select high school seniors the chance to develop entrepreneurial skills with local businesses and leaders. It starts with the class of '25-'26.
