Good Morning everyone -

Here is an update from LES regarding Kindergarten Registration:-

Update from Lebanon Elementary School:

Please read and share if you have a child that will be 5 by Sept. 1, 2020 and plan for them to attend LES. I have emailed parents that responded they would attend the registration event on March 26th.

We are cancelling Kindergarten Registration which was scheduled for March 26th from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. In an effort to not get too far behind, we are offering some ways for you to still receive the information, complete it, and return it to us.

There is building access to pick-up and/or drop-off of packets from 6:30 am - 12:00 noon THIS WEEK ONLY in the LES Gymnasium. Come through the back doors of the school, go to the K Registration table located near the front entrance of the gymnasium, and pick up or drop off a packet.

If you have access to Google we can share the packet with you.

I can also email the packet to you. You can print it off and email the completed information back to me or drop it off this week in the gym between 6:30 am and 12:00 noon.

My email address is amv@lcusd9.org.

We appreciate your patience as we all deal with the shut downs. Please be safe and stay healthy.

A huge thank you to all of the parents and students that were able to come and pick up their student's packet.  For those that were not able to make it, packets were delivered yesterday.  A huge thank you to Karen Wehrle and Connie Haas for getting the rest delivered. As of this morning, ALL District 9 students should have their packets.   Also thank you to Karen Wehrle for getting the meals delivered to those that have made arrangements for delivery. You can still call for delivery if needed - 618-537-4611 or email lhardy@lcusd9.org.

The custodial staff have been busy sanitizing all areas of our schools.  Thank you to our guys for keeping us safe and healthy.

Office Hours remain 8:00 am to noon Monday thru Friday.  LHS/LJHS 618-537-4423  LES 618-537-4553 and the district office is 618-537-4611. Please don't hesitate to call for any questions that you may have.

Several links have been added so that you may find out more information on COVID-19 and also for ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) to see what our state educators are working on and decisions they are making.

We are moving along day to day to see what the next steps will be.  As soon as we receive information we will pass it along to all of you.  Please continue to take the social distancing very seriously and to keep washing your hands  - we will get thru this together!
