Parents

Please remember that when your student is sick or will not be at school to call the office (537-4553) the morning of the absence before 10am.  Also a note must be sent with the student the day they return.  All students must check-in and check-out through the main office - otherwise it is an unexcused absence.

School Closings

Should school be canceled due to weather, please watch for the announcement on channels 2, 4, 5, 11 and also on radio stations KMOX (1120) and WIBI (91.1).  Please remember that students are not allowed in the building prior to the 8:25 bell unless they ride the bus, are eating breakfast, or receiving individual tutoring with a teacher.  The doors will be open at 8:20 if the temperature falls below 20 degrees or there is a wind chill factor below 20 degrees.  The same temperature and wind chill will be used for determining indoor recess during the winter months.
