Lebanon CUSD 9 Vision Statement

The vision of Lebanon CUSD 9 is:

  • That all children become responsible, caring, and productive citizens of society. Who have the academic, social, emotional, physical and multicultural skills and knowledge needed for good decision making and citizenship. Through:
    • a well rounded curriculum that meets the learning needs of all students,
    • that is grounded in academics and supported by art, music, and athletic learning opportunities;
    • taught by innovative, involved teachers,
    • who also serve as positive role models for our children
  • That parents, school and community work together in partnership to provide the financial and emotional support needed for children and our growing school district to be successful. Through:
    • high expectations for student learning;
    • a strong parent/teacher partnership

Welcome to the Lebanon Community Unit School District #9 website!  We are pleased to have you visit us!  District #9 is located in the North/East part of St. Clair County, Illinois.  As a unit school district, we serve students in Pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from several communities. The majority of our families live in Lebanon, Illinois.

 

Lebanon CUSD #9 has a long-standing reputation as one of the finest school districts in the area. We are committed to serving the “whole child” academically, socially, and emotionally. District #9 is honored to have many award-winning programs in fine arts, music, early childhood, academics and athletics.
